About Me and the Studio

In this section, you'll find out some things about me and my music writing as well as information about how the Back Porch Studio began -- and you'll have the opportunity to come make a "virtual visit" to the Back Porch by perusing several photos of the studio. Also, Jonathan has put together a really neat "virtual tour" on the Studio Photos page where you can see all around the room and zoom in or out. Please understand that the photos are several years old. Since they were taken I've added some additional equipment and furnishings. Hopefully we will be able to update these photos before too long.

For those who might be interested in stuff like this, I've included an up-to-date list of equipment in the studio, with the model numbers and all the statistics -- everything but the serial numbers!

The "Trivia" section includes some things about me, my writing, and things in the studio, including my collection of world instruments, figurines, and souvenirs.

"Just for Fun" is the newest addition to our lineup. This section features some accordion humor as well as several odd, peculiar, and weird bits of information that I hope you will find to be interesting. And along the way you'll find some parenthetical comments from me, which adds even more craziness to the mix!

Oh, and be sure to check out the "Doo-Wap Horses" before you leave!

And, by the way, every link and email that leaves here and heads off into cyberspace has to pass through a pretty strong Back Porch screen door virus filter. Because of that, I can assure you that everything I send is safe -- maybe crazy, but safe!

Hope you enjoy this section!!
